Work description
Dis-Chem pharmacies require an experienced cleaner for their Centurion stores. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly store, as per Dis-Chem hygiene standards. Areas will include the store floor, stockroom, dispensary, administration office, and dining room.
Minimum requirements…
Essential:
Grade 12 / Matrix
Minimum 6 months cleaning experience
Sound command of the English language.
Basic customer service
Additional language that is specific to the area
Willing and able to work retail hours
Advantageous:
Bilingual
Previous experience cleaning retail stores
Job Specifications…
Provide a high daily level of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the store, store floor and common areas, before the store opens.
Develop routines to ensure that all areas of the store are maintained to a high level of cleanliness.
Make sure that the dining room and restrooms are clean and supplied with the necessary products at all times.
Be available during all hours of operation to clean when necessary.
Make sure the correct cleaning products and equipment are used for specific jobs.
Make sure the wet floor sign is up and visible at both ends when cleaning the floor.
Be friendly, professional, and able to help customers.
Perform functions in accordance with health and safety regulations.
