Work description

The ideal candidate for this position will be in charge of converting consumers visiting the showroom into sales through tangible product demonstrations, meeting sales goals, and facilitating order processing, document collection, and administration. .

In order to market the features and benefits of each product and category, you will need to determine the pressing needs of our customers and have clear direction on product pricing and offerings as linked to the catalog. You will also resolve customer inquiries and collect consumer payments, refunds and credits.

Duties and responsibilities

Manage customer journey account opening and order processing

Make sure customers are greeted upon arrival. Determine your immediate demand

Make sure the products are displayed visually as in the catalog. NTF customers should be encouraged to open an account.
Make sure the product is priced correctly and determine the ATB of customers
Provide customer assistance with installment payments, query resolution, order processing, and merchandise returns.

Ensure customer service and support service level agreements are in place and adhered to
As an ambassador, ensure that professional, courteous and efficient service is provided.
Ensure that customers are served at self-service kiosks.

Assist with daily administrative tasks related to customer service, research, ordering, and query resolution.

When marketing and increasing showroom awareness, be sure to meet business goals while maintaining a high level of customer delight.

Product knowledge and price management.

Make sure you are up to date with the HomeChoice catalog and products for your product category.

Make sure you understand the features and benefits of the product, including electronics, and that you can sell with confidence.

Make sure that you provide enough up-to-date training for the items offered, as well as have a thorough understanding of insurance, legalities, etc.

Make sure you are aware of competing products and know how to increase sales.
Make sure prices and offers are consistent with the catalog, and that price/offer changes are implemented as needed.

Visual merchandising and cleaning
Ensure products are visually merchandised in accordance with VM policy.
Make sure cleaning standards are followed in accordance with policy.

Meet Operational Efficiency Consistently meet or exceed goals and standards for productivity, compliance, response time, and quality.
Make sure your homework is always up to date.
Adhere to any service level agreements.
Consistently and proactively convey ways to increase efficiency in our performance, procedures and systems.
Ensure compliance standards and legislative requirements are followed and agreed quality benchmarks are met.
Always ensure that the correct information is conveyed to customers.
Accurately acquire and capture all the necessary information.

Make sure current catalogs and order forms are constantly in stock and displayed accordingly.
Make sure you are 100% aware of the daily operations regarding the Click & Collect procedure.

Ensure professional, courteous and efficient service is provided by acting as an ambassador.
Provide an exceptional customer experience

Take responsibility by ensuring that advice is always offered in the best interest of the client.
Handle objections correctly to obtain positive results and maintain customer satisfaction.
Continuously work to improve the customer experience and service delivery.
Adhere to quality standards

Always make sure that the right information is provided to customers. Get and accurately capture all relevant information.

Ensure that all administrative and reporting tasks are completed on time and in accordance with applicable protocols and procedures.
Comply with all rules, processes, and company rules and regulations.

Make sure your appearance is consistent with the staff policy and that you wear the staff uniforms and name badges provided by HomeChoice.

Return and administration of merchandise.

Please ensure all Visual Display inventory has been scanned and all documentation signed and filed.

Ensure weekly control of the plant and inventory of Click & Collect items.
Feedback for Admin Manager and any reported inconsistencies
Click and Collect monthly figures delivered to HCDC Inventory Manager
Daily duties according to the warehouse list attached Make sure all PODs are captured and old Click Collect pack stickers are complete and affixed to Click and Collect packs.

Make sure all Click and Collect packages are scanned the same day of delivery
Ensure Click and Collect delivery note is passed to Showroom Salvage staff to contact customers for daily collection Please ensure all genetic resources are accounted for and submitted to HCDC on a daily basis.

Please ensure all stock communication is emailed to HCDC and Showroom Management.
Make sure security is present when deliveries are made.

Ensure safety around opening and closing protocols, as well as safety in general, are continually communicated to workers, run monthly emergency procedures to ensure staff are prepared for any safety issues.
Administration and Reports

Receiving deliveries from DC
Reception of return of goods with Security
Liaise with Admin Manager on Parcels for Click & Collect

Oversee stock transfers to and from the distribution center as per policy
Ensure inventory takes are completed regularly according to established KPAs

Requirements

Grade 12/Matrix/NQFL 3/NQFL 4
1 year of retail sales experience required
The ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
It would be advantageous to work in the home goods retail industry.
