Our JumpStart programme is taking urgent action, equipping unemployed youth with sought-after retail and manufacturing skills to help unlock career potential. South Africa’s youth are resilient and filled with potential – and inspire us to do everything we can to build a better future for our nation.

Mr Price invites all suitable unemployed individuals to apply for their JumpStart Retail Frontline Programme
JumpStart skills development programmes are designed to unlock opportunities for unemployed youth in the retail and
manufacturing value chain. These programmes are run in partnership with our awesome employer partners,
including Mr Price Group businesses and the SPAR Group.
Purpose
Retail Frontline Programme is available nationally, a two-week course composed of an online life skills course, two days of in-person training and interviews, and one week of hands-on work experience in a
retail environment. This programme shapes candidates for entry-level positions in retail.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Must be between 18-35 years old
- Unemployed South African citizen
- No criminal record
