Performs a range of tasks related to anticipating and responding to firefighting incidents as part of the duties. utilizing and maintaining firefighting tools and equipment. Firefighter Learnerships 2023

Maintaining fire station facilities under supervision and performing related work as necessary in line with the Fire Brigade Services Act (Act 99 of 1987) to safeguard the lives and property of Saldanha Bay Municipality residents.

Requirements:

Grade 12
No prior experience needed
Code B driving permit Advantageous
zero criminal history
fit both physically and mentally
NFPA 1582 medical examination
CPAT, or candidate physical ability test
Candidates possessing a fireman 1 certificate will receive preference.

How to use
According to regulation 13 of the Local Government Municipal Staff Regulations, there will be a six-month probationary period for all appointments.
