Job Description

The purpose of this post is to assist with all functions in the Shipping department. You will also have to ensure that adequate production levels are maintained on the Shipping floor and report any discrepancies to the supervisor on site. Responsible to perform any Ad Hoc Duties when required.
We have to get serious for a bit. We need:
- Grade 10/11/12
- Experience in the Shipping department will be advantageous
- Must be able to function well in a team
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must be able to perform under pressure
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Physically fit and healthy
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Work with the ‘’Breekspan” in the handling and relocation of bales.
- Work with Cross Hauling, outside bales must be offloaded from the trucks.
- Pulling bales from stacking area. As well as replacing unused bales back into the stacking area.
- General housekeeping. Maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
- Perform any other ad hoc activities/duties/tasks/ as requested by the supervisor or management in the plant (BKB).
