Purpose of the Role

Our Talent Team is looking for someone who is brilliant at the basics to fill the role of a Picker with great adaptable skills to join our Vector Logistics Division.
The role will report into the Shift Warehouse Controller and will be based in Bloemfontein. The position exits to control the processes of inbound, outbound, stock integrity and stock handling to maintain efficiency within the warehouse and leading a team/shift

Duties & Responsibilities
General Work Duties
Sweeping
Cleaning the warehouse
Assist on route with deliveries
Housekeeping
Assist with picking and various Adhoc warehouse tasks
Loading and wrapping of pallets and products
Operating MHE’s i.e. Pallet Jacks and Forklift (*licence required)
Follow the SOP in the execution of loading a truck
Wrapping
Sorts and pack cases according to product packing instruction and wraps loads
Removes poor quality pros from the line before loading
Assist Checker to remove and/or unpack cases.
Housekeeping
Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure correct storage.
Ensure that stacking is neat, square and secure.
Ensure the work area is neat and tidy at all times.
Ensure waste on floors is cleaned before the end of the day and walk ways are neat and
Ensure pallet boards and pallets are removed timeously from pick levels and cold room.
