Qualifications/Education

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate
• Tertiary qualification (advantage)
• Able to work the night shift
• Immediate availability

Duties/Requirements

• Maintain a safe working environment, report all maintenance issues to the stock controller
• Maintain good working relationships with other departments
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment (FCS Standards)
• Report expired and about-to-expire goods to the Stock controller
• Maintaining service standards as set by the company and clients
• Receiving:
  • Retrieve authorized orders
  • Check deliverables against the order
  • Check invoice against order and document and necessary changes
• Issuing:
  • Print or get a picking list from the stock controller
  • Pack order as per SOP
• Cleaning:
  • As per assigned areas and schedule that will be provided
• Freezer temperatures:
  • Record freezer/fridge temperatures as per required intervals
  • Report any deviations from the standard as per SOP
• Stock movements:
  • Once inventory movements have been authorized by the Stock controller/Warehouse Manager stock must be packed as per FIFO standards.
• Ensure that outlet representatives check their stock before taking the stock out of the warehouse
• Seal all trolleys leaving the warehouse and record seal number on both copies of the issue request
• Submit documents raised by the Stock controller for reviews and capturing on IFS
• Month-end stock-takes:
  • Mandatory according to procedures
  • Assist in investigating variances with explanations to the stock controller
