A permanent opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Worker to be based at Unitrans BP Hub. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12/ Equivalent
• Medically fit
• Reliable
• Work in a safe manner i.e. Ensure all safety requirements are adhered to
• Prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Clean criminal record
• Must have own reliable transport to and from work
• Ability to handle heavy equipment
• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
• Excellent organizational skills a must
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
Duties & Responsibilities
• Able to carry out all reasonable instructions from Supervisor
• Maintaining environment
• General housing keeping
• Notify building management of any repairs required.
• Loading & Offloading trucks
Assisting in boxing of stock, loading and offloading of trucks.
• General housekeeping.
• Maintaining the environment.
• Notify building management of any repairs required.
• Assist in Warehousing and Delivery.
• Able to carry out all reasonable instructions from Supervisor.
• Assist when driver is on leave.
• Cleaning of trucks.
