Responsibilities
Chop loading process
- Acquired information on the levels of the bins from Millers
- Received loading sheet to record and confirm loading
- (Customer’s name, registration, schedule for loading, etc)
- Established number of trucks to be loaded
- Guided truck under bins
- Started loading process
- Hammered bins to remove chokes when necessary
- Monitored fullness of truck according to required standard
Housekeeping
- Continuously cleaned the area and the spills
- Loaded sweepings into bags
Safety
- Always worn safety gear (PPE)
- Maintained food safety and hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- 6 – 12 months’ experience retail
- Health and safety standards
