Cellar assistant
Purpose of job:
Responsible for cleaning and sterilizing of tanks and all cellar equipment and to pump and rack wine.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in all operational facets in the cellar.
- Execute winemaking practices issued by winemakers on Job cards.
- Offload and load delivery vehicles.
- Blend products.
- Essure correct use of only clean bottles with new sealed capsules.
- Responsible for housekeeping in the cellar.
- Ensure that high pressure cleaning equipment and safety equipment are used.
- Perform adhoc functions as and when required.Education:
Matric
Must be literate. - Must be able to adapt to the cellar environment.
