ABOUT THE POSITION
Responsibilities:
- Greet all visitors to the winery/tasting rooms and pour wines for tasting and enjoyment;
- Assist with hospitality special events as needed;
- Represent brand at outside functions as needed;
- Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of both William Church and Cuillin Hills wineries, and their wines;
- Assist in maintaining appearance and cleanliness of all facilities;
- Create a warm and memorable experience for the guests, building brand loyalty;
- Assist with display and stocking of retail items and wines;
- Perform other duties as required including assisting other departments as needed;
- Describe wine club options; promote and procure tastings, glass pours, bottle-sales and memberships to customers;
- Provide general tourist information;
- Handle routine sales transactions using OrderPort point of sales system; account for daily sales.

– Grade 12 is essential;
– Must be able to speak English and Afrikaans;
– Have qualifications or previous experience in in the wine Industry or waitering experience;

– Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods as required by job duties;
– Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
