Clover is looking for an Operator: Milk Reception who can receive milk/cream and ensure that product adheres to the minimum standards.
Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
Business English: Fluent
Computer literacy (Basic)
Work shifts/weekends/public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities
Handle milk samples according to branch procedure
Sample all raw milk tankers in accordance with set standards
Carry out required tests
Provide raw milk test sample to laboratory
Offload milk tanker
Connect and offload tanker
Keep record of all raw milk received in accordance with set standards
Ensure that turnaround time for tankers are limited to the minimum
Cleaning of equipment and tankers
Clean equipment and tankers (Cleaning In Place and Cleaning Out of Place) according to Standard Operating Procedures
Connect raw milk pipes to production and Cleaning In Place
Control detergent measurements
Take swabs of all equipment and tankers after cleaning
Perform housekeeping and apply safety principles
Maintain good housekeeping practices & work safely
Do safety inspections
Maintain equipment e.g. sampler, stirrers etc.
