Introduction
Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Charge Hand Grout Plant (No B-Cert) to be placed in Richard shaft, near Northham,Limpopo. The successful candidate will report to the Shift Supervisor Grout Plant. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.
Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

·        Effective planning, leading, organising and control of the grouting operations under his/her control to achieve daily production and safety targets

·        Effective supervision of the underground team in line with standards, procedures and safety protocols

·        Conduct and participate in morning meetings and complete the relevant checklists, risk / safety documents as required

·        Verify ranges and hoses are in order before pumping operations start

·        Safely assist in grout pumping operations to standards, procedures and safety protocols

·        Conduct over inspection of pumping operations to ensure packs are installed and pumped to standard

·        Effective and timeous communication to relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows pertaining to grout production and plant operations

·        Conduct legal inspections timeously

·        Self and team understand and comply with M&RC’s standards, procedures, polices and safety protocols

·        Self and team wear the correct PPE before executing a task

·        Effective team supervision in alignment with M&RC’s values

Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

·        Grade 12 or equivalent

·         Numeracy at NQF Level 4
