An opportunity has arisen for Delivery Assistant to assist Delivery Driver to deliver product to customers in accordance with Clover policy and procedures. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
Business English: Fluent
Travel off-site/ overnight stay
Work shifts/weekends/public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver Stock
Maintain stock integrity
Deliver product according to invoice in accordance with customer specifications
Deliver stock at prescribed temperature
Handle containers (pallets and crates)
Assist in collecting and securing cash
Adhere to stock recheck procedure when required
Comply and adhere to safety rules and regulations
Assist with vehicle roadworthy checks
Assist in Pre and Post trip inspection of vehicle
Assist Driver in vehicle maneuvering
Return Stock
Pick up authorized product
Maintain cold chain
Adhere to Principal return standards
Separate good from bad stock returns
Perform administrative duties
Assist in verifying all invoices and uplifts prior to departure
Ensure return of all route documents (invoice, pallet slip, return authorization, customer claim)
Ensure full POD (signed and accepted)
Ensure document modification done where applicable
Ensure returns and hand in documents according to procedure
