Job Overview – Coca-Cola Production Team Leader
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is recruiting skilled individuals for Coca-Cola Production Team Leader roles within our Supply Chain department. The opportunity is located at Premier Place, with reporting lines to the Unit Manager in Pretoria.
This role is essential in ensuring your team produces high-quality beverages according to world-class standards. You will lead a production team, manage performance, and uphold safety and efficiency in line operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set, monitor, and evaluate team performance goals
- Delegate tasks and ensure accurate completion
- Coach, support, and guide team members
- Promote and communicate manufacturing updates and requirements
- Manage team relationships and handle conflict when necessary
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment
- Support change initiatives within the production unit
- Address and solve operational challenges
- Monitor your own development and performance
Key Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of:
- Bottling processes and quality standards
- SHE (Safety, Health & Environmental) protocols
- Company labour relations procedures
- Practical application of leadership and production concepts
Key Competencies:
- Strong team empowerment and development skills
- Adaptable and insightful decision-maker
- Good planning and organisational abilities
- Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Experience in production or manufacturing leadership
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to grow within the supply chain field
