Duties and Responsibilities

Selected candidates will:

  • Join a dynamic retail team on a 12-month fixed-term contract
  • Gain practical, on-the-job training in retail operations
  • Learn customer service, stock handling, and store management basics
  • Contribute to a high-energy, team-driven work environment
  • Follow all retail and company policies
  • Report to store supervisors and receive mentorship

Requirements

To qualify for this YES youth retail opportunity, you must:

  • Be aged 18 to 28 years old
  • Have Grade 12 (Matric) – preferred
  • Be available and willing to commit to a 12-month contract
  • Not be employed full-time or permanently for more than 1 year with any employer
  • Not be studying full-time from April to March
  • Not have participated in the YES Programme before
  • Be responsible for your own accommodation and transport (if applicable)
