The Mpumalanga Department of Education is recruiting Examination Assistants (EAs) for the November/December 2024 NSC marking session. If you are a young South African with Grade 12, currently studying or a recent graduate, this is your chance to earn income while gaining professional experience.
Why Apply?
This opportunity allows youth to contribute to the 2024 NSC exam process while developing administrative and organizational skills. The marking session will run from 01 to 14 December 2024, and selected EAs must be available for the full uninterrupted period.
Who Should Apply?
This role is ideal for:
- Registered tertiary students (at least 2nd year)
- Unemployed graduates
- Youth aged 18–30 years
- South African citizens with no criminal record
Priority will be given to indigent (needy) applicants, especially those from local circuits and NYDA referrals.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Mpumalanga exam assistant vacancies, you must meet the following:
- Be a South African citizen
- Have a Grade 12 certificate or statement of results
- Be 18–30 years of age
- Be currently registered at a tertiary institution (minimum second year) OR an unemployed graduate
- No criminal record
Required Documents
Ensure your application includes the following:
- Certified Grade 12 certificate/statement of results
- Certified copy of South African ID
- Certified proof of tertiary registration OR tertiary qualification
- Latest tertiary statement of results (if applicable)
- Short Curriculum Vitae (CV)
