Learnership Overview: DSV Logistics Programme
DSV is currently offering an exciting fixed-term learnership for young South Africans. You’ll be trained in one of the following NQF-accredited programs based on your strengths:
- Warehouse Supervision NQF4
- Road Transport Supervision NQF4
- Business Administration NQF4
- Transport Operations NQF4
- Lifting Machine Operations NQF3/NQF4
- Freight Handling NQF3
- Freight Forwarding & Customs Clearance NQF3
- Project Management
Duties and Responsibilities
During the learnership, you will:
- Assist with warehouse operations, stock control, and order dispatch
- Learn customs clearance and freight documentation
- Participate in planning and project execution
- Understand lifting machine safety and road transport rules
- Support general admin and office tasks
- Gain exposure to business operations and logistics processes
- Contribute to logistics projects and ensure deadlines are met
- Learn how to maintain workplace safety and cleanliness

Requirements to Apply
To qualify, you must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Must live within 15km of the work location
- Willing to commit to a 12-month programme
- Able to lift heavy items and multitask
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with shift work and teamwork
- Reliable access to transportation
Preferred:
- Previous experience in warehouse environments is beneficial but not required.
