Eskom is inviting young, unemployed South Africans to participate in the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme, a national initiative led by President Cyril Ramaphosa to tackle youth unemployment. This opportunity offers a 12-month work experience in the dynamic energy industry, with 35 positions available at Eskom’s Megawatt Park across various departments.

Minimum Requirements for Eskom YES learnerships
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be aged 18 to 34 years
- Have a Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Not have worked permanently for a single employer for more than one year
- Not be studying full-time during the programme year
- Not have participated in a YES programme before
