Job Description
As a General Worker, your role will be to support daily warehouse operations including maintaining cleanliness, assisting drivers, and handling physical tasks. You’ll be expected to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
Duties and Responsibilities for Johannesburg General Worker Opportunity
- Assist drivers with loading and offloading
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse
- Perform general housekeeping tasks
- Notify management of repair needs
- Carry out any reasonable instructions from the Supervisor
- Ensure safe working practices at all times
Minimum Requirements for Johannesburg General Worker Opportunity
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4
- Physically fit and able to walk, bend, push, pull and lift throughout the day
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemical storage, and disposal
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Clean criminal record
- Own, reliable transport
- Good communication and teamworking skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and identify tasks proactively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
