About the Just Milk Student Program
The Just Milk Student Program is an initiative by N2P’s dairy division, providing hands-on learning and career development for individuals passionate about animal care, farming, and dairy production. If you are a motivated, responsible, and animal-friendly person looking to begin a rewarding journey in dairy agriculture, this is your chance.
This program is open to students or recent graduates in dairy agriculture or a related field. Applicants must be willing to relocate to farms in the Eastern Cape—on-farm accommodation will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities for Just Milk Student Program
Participants will work closely with farm managers and teams across departments, gaining practical, hands-on experience in:
- Assisting with daily milking and herd health routines
- Feeding and caring for dairy cows
- Monitoring and recording animal behavior and production data
- Supporting farm operations under the “Just Milk” brand
- Contributing to pasture-based dairy efficiency and sustainability

Requirements for Just Milk Student Program
To qualify for the Just Milk Student Program, you must:
- Have a Grade 12 National Certificate
- Be currently studying or have graduated in a dairy-related agricultural field

- Have excellent time management and communication skills
- Be mature and able to make responsible decisions independently
