General Worker Job Vacancy: Role Overview
The General Worker Job at PG Group focuses on assisting all areas of processing to meet production and quality targets throughout the plant.
Key Responsibilities: General Worker Job Vacancy
- Measure incoming glass accurately using a tape measure.
- Inspect glass for irregular breaks, scratches, and uneven edges.
- Follow job card and drawing instructions carefully.
- Work closely with machine operators and follow all safety requirements.
- Perform continuous quality checks and report defects.
- Scan and confirm good glass before sending it to the next station; scrap rejected glass.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and daily production records.
- Handle chemicals safely and label/pack glass correctly.
- Load and offload materials using pallet jacks or by hand.
- Assist with general production and operations tasks as needed.

Requirements for General Worker Job Vacancy
Educational Background
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience
- 1 year of glass processing experience (advantageous)
- SAP knowledge
Skills
- Analytical and numerical skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to read, write, and use precision measuring equipment
