About the Role
As a Part-Time Sales Assistant at PEP, you’ll help drive sales, reduce stock losses, manage inventory, assist customers, and operate the cash register. With a culture built on teamwork, fun, and excellence, PEP offers an environment where you can thrive and grow your retail career.
Responsibilities Part-time sales assistant
- Welcome customers warmly and offer immediate assistance
- Promote sales by recommending products and upselling
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently
- Keep the store neat, safe, and compliant with security guidelines
- Help manage stock, including receiving, organizing, and displaying merchandise
- Maintain a strong knowledge of products and keep up with new arrivals
- Meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Assist in ordering and setting up store displays
- Solve customer queries and inform them about promotions
- Stay up to date with product features and store updates

Minimum Requirements Part-time sales assistant
- Matric (Grade 12); Grade 10 accepted for General Worker roles
- Previous experience in cashier, customer service, sales, or general retail roles
- Live within 15 km of the store
- Clear criminal record
Preferred Skills and Attributes Part-time sales assistant
- South African candidates preferred
- English communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Passion for retail and delivering excellent customer experiences
