About the Job Opportunity

We are excited to announce an opportunity for previously disadvantaged, unemployed individuals to join our 12-month Technical Support Learnership Programme. This learnership is an excellent chance for candidates to gain hands-on experience and earn a certificate in IT Technical Support (NQF Level 4).

This programme combines structured learning with practical experience, allowing the successful candidate to develop essential IT skills while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Technical Support Learnership Programme

Key Responsibilities of the Position:

As part of the IT department, the candidate will be exposed to various technical support tasks, including:

  • Setting up and maintaining workstations
  • Troubleshooting and providing solutions for IT incidents
  • Escalating issues to third-level support
  • Offering telephonic technical assistance
  • Providing feedback and reporting as required
  • Assisting with the rollout of new hardware and software at different sites
  • Continuous on-the-job coaching, training, and mentorship

Qualification and Requirements:

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or Accounting (Minimum Level 4 – 50%)
  • Proficiency in English (Minimum Level 4 – 50%)
  • Proficiency in a second language (Minimum Level 4 – 50%)
  • Any relevant tertiary qualification is an advantage
  • Candidates must be currently unemployed and not registered for any further studies
  • Must have an interest in IT Networks and IT Security
  • Must be available to start the Learnership in January
