Job Description – Sasol Operator NPE Jobs
As a Non-Electric Initiation System Operator, your core responsibility will be to assemble components on manual assembly machines according to strict safety and quality specifications. Operators will be expected to:
Key Duties and Responsibilities Sasol Operator NPE Jobs:
- Crimp, block, coil, seal, and tag explosives
- Operate multiple machines (crimping, coiling, sealing, tagging)
- Conduct quality checks on products and document results
- Perform accurate raw material stock counts
- Bundle, pack, and box products per guidelines
- Conduct general housekeeping and safety checks
- Use measurement tools like Vernier calipers
- Adjust equipment settings per product specs
- Record production data and update graphs manually
- Report breakdowns and shift outputs
- Collaborate within a team and work with minimal supervision

Minimum Requirements. Sasol Operator NPE Jobs
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Mathematics and Science (advantageous)
- 6 months experience in explosives manufacturing
- Plant-specific experience is a plus
