Youth Employment Service Overview
TFG proudly supports the Youth Employment Service (YES) programme. This initiative offers unemployed South African youth valuable work experience in the retail industry — no formal qualification required. Participants also benefit from work-readiness training through an online platform, accessed via a mobile smartphone that you get to keep upon completing the programme.
The YES programme aims to uplift communities by connecting youth to meaningful economic opportunities, helping them build confidence and dignity while preparing for a brighter future.

Retail Job Opportunity for Youth
Calling young South Africans! Here’s your chance to enter the job market and gain life-changing work experience in a dynamic retail environment. Tick the boxes below to see if you qualify:
- Age: 18–28 years
- Qualification: Matric (preferable, but not required)
- Contract: Available for a fixed-term 12-month contract
- Employment history: Not permanently employed with one employer for more than a year
- Study status: Not enrolled in full-time studies during April–March
- Prior YES experience: Never participated in the YES programme before
- Logistics: Able to arrange your own accommodation and transport if needed
Note: Preference is given to candidates from designated groups as per the Employment Equity Act.
