Main Purpose of Job
As an Apprentice Teacher, you will support instruction and classroom management while creating an engaging, inquiry-driven learning environment. You’ll work closely with Resident Teachers who will mentor and coach you, helping you develop into an excellent educator.
Key Responsibility Areas Nova Pioneer Teaching Opportunity
- Support Resident Teachers in delivering impactful, technology-enhanced lessons
- Infuse passion and excitement into lessons to motivate students
- Help set and communicate ambitious goals for all students
- Provide student feedback to encourage growth
- Use assessment data to adjust instruction
- Participate in weekly feedback meetings with teachers and Deans
- Engage in professional development, coaching, and team reflections
- Communicate regularly with parents through email, phone, and meetings
- Join co-curricular activities each term
- Fulfill assigned supervisory duties, including some morning, evening, or weekend events

Required Education
