This structured programme offers work-based learning leading to a registered NQF qualification. Early Childhood Learnerships Programme are managed by Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) and open doors for a lasting career in early learning.
Who Can Apply for Early Childhood Development Learnerships?
To be eligible for these Early Childhood Learnerships Programme, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen with a valid ID
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Have a National Senior Certificate (Matric) or National Certificate: Vocational
- Possess basic computer literacy skills (advantageous)
- Be willing to sign a Learnership Agreement outlining the roles of learner, employer, and education provider
- Understand that the employment contract is only valid for the duration of the learnership

Duties During the Learnership Programme
As a participant in the Early Childhood Learnerships Programme, your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with families, colleagues, and community systems
