About the Role
As a Call Centre Sales Agent, you’ll act as the link between our business and potential customers—engaging via calls, emails, and messages to promote services, quote clients, and drive conversions. You’ll help customers make informed purchase decisions while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, trust, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Call Centre Sales Agent South Africa
- Achieve and exceed daily and monthly sales targets.
- Sell a range of value-added products, including service plans, warranties, maintenance, and credit protection.
- Conduct needs analyses to recommend the best-fit solution to customers.
- Handle both inbound and outbound leads.
- Maintain 4+ hours of daily talk time and 7+ hours of total productivity.
- Follow quality scripts and maintain a minimum 90% QA score.
- Uphold Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and compliance standards.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, legislation, and regulatory requirements (e.g., RE5, CPD hours).
Minimum Requirements: Call Centre Sales Agent S.A
- Matric (Grade 12)
- NQF Level 4 in Short-Term Insurance (preferred)
- FAIS compliance and RE5 certification (advantageous)
- At least 12 months of telesales experience
- Experience in insurance sales is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English and confident communication skills
