PG Group, the leader in Southern Africa’s glass distribution and processing, is looking for passionate individuals to join their team as Glass Production Assistants. This role supports machine operators across production areas, helping ensure quality standards and targets are met daily.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist machine operators in daily tasks
- Accurately measure incoming glass with tape measure
- Inspect glass for defects like breaks or scratches
- Follow process instructions from job cards and drawings
- Handle documentation (physical and digital)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Label and pack glass products appropriately
- Load/unload glass using pallet jacks and manual labor
- Conduct quality checks before sending glass to the next station
- Scrape and report rejected pieces for replacement
- Record production data including dimensions, material type, and volumes
Requirements
- Minimum education: Grade 12 (Matric)
- At least 1 year of experience in glass processing
- Knowledge of SAP systems is beneficial
- Must read and write proficiently
- Able to operate precision measuring tools
