Duties & Responsibilities for Independent Correctional Visitor Jobs
As an Independent Correctional Visitor, your core responsibilities will include:
- Conducting daily visits to assigned correctional centres.
- Monitoring detention conditions and engaging with inmates and Department of Correctional Services (DCS) officials.
- Recording and reporting any deaths, segregation, use of force, or restraints.
- Capturing and following up on inmate complaints.
- Assisting JICS officials with inspections and investigations.
- Drafting detailed written reports and carrying out related administrative tasks.
Requirements for Independent Correctional Visitor Jobs
