Duties & Responsibilities
As part of the SASSA Financial Clerk Vacancy, your responsibilities will include:
- Registering and capturing debts in the Oracle system.
- Opening and managing individual debtor files.
- Filing supporting documentation and correspondence for each debtor.
- Drafting and sending letters to debtors in line with Debt Policy.
- Following up regularly with debtors and relevant parties.
- Conducting detailed debtor reconciliations.
- Capturing banking transactions and issuing receipts.
- Sending out monthly statements to all debtors.
- Providing essential admin support to the Revenue and Debt Management unit.

- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with Accounting, Mathematics, or Mathematical Literacy.
- 0–1 year of relevant finance/admin experience.
