Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) is currently recruiting passionate, eager-to-learn candidates for a hands-on engineering development journey. If you’re between the ages of 18 and 34, this may be your stepping stone into the world of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Trades Offered Through the Programme
The apprenticeship is aligned with SETA-accredited learning programmes and provides valuable exposure to the following technical trades:

- Fitter

You’ll spend 70% of your time applying your knowledge in real ACSA departments and the other 30% receiving classroom-based theoretical training. Each apprentice will be assigned a mentor who will guide them throughout the programme—helping them grow into confident and qualified artisans.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Grade 12 and National N6 Technical Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-mechanical Engineering
- Be unemployed and between 18–34 years
- Be a South African citizen with no criminal record
- Be fluent in English and physically fit
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
