Employed Learnerships

Is a learnership that is run within a business structure with company employees. Employed learnerships aim to train and upskill the company’s workforce.

Learner selections

Many companies want to upskill their staff, and a learnership is a great way to do this. Each potential employee is screened and undergoes a selection process to help us select the best candidate for each learnership.

Pre-implementation assessment

As part of our selection process, we screen potential employees with a pre-implementation assessment to ensure they have the capabilities and can meet the minimum qualification entry requirements to take part in the selected learnership.

Unemployed Learnerships

Is a learnership that is run with currently unemployed learners. Learners are recruited specifically for the learnership program. This is a great initiative to help relieve the unemployment crisis in South Africa and to upskill the potential workforce. This is a great option for clients who would like to be a host employer.

We take pride in recruiting the best candidates for learnerships. Each potential learner is screened and goes through a selection process to help us recruit the best candidate for each learnership.

Pre-implementation assessment

As part of our recruitment process, we screen learners with a pre-implementation assessment to ensure they have the capabilities and can meet the minimum qualification entry requirements to take part in the selected learnership.

Hosting solutions

1. Client hosting: The client hosts learners for their practical workplace experience.
2. Full off-site hosting: KVR finds a host site on behalf of clients to host students for their practical work placement.

Payroll admin and disbursement

KVR oversees the administration and disbursement of learner stipend payments and ensures they receive payment for taking part in the learnership.

TRAINING IMPLEMENTATION

KVR training has vast experience implementing employed and unemployed learnership programmes and follows a structured and collaborative approach to ensure the training implementation runs smoothly and meets all SAQA and regulatory requirements.

Face to face

Virtual/Online

Facilitated class with in-person training facilitator.

Virtual class with a facilitator or completely self-paced learning through the KVR online platform.

Hybrid learning

Our hybrid learning solution offers a flexible option for learners to enrol in formal education programmes, while controlling where, when, and how they learn, along with the added option of being assessed.

This approach allows learners to attend training virtually via the KVR online platform and / or to engage in some face-to-face contact time in a classroom setting. KVR Training customises solutions to best meet the needs of our clients and learners
