Duties and Responsibilities for Pharmacist vacancy Raceway Gauteng
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Act 53/1974 and Medicines Act 101/1965
- Uphold GxP principles at the Raceway facility
- Manage regulatory licenses related to medical devices
- Coordinate medicine repackaging and destruction
- Assist in product lifecycle tasks (receiving, sampling, retention, etc.)
- Participate in audits (internal, external, regulatory, and client)
- Support product recalls, market returns, and complaints
- Drive quality improvement and operational excellence
- Register and tutor pharmacist assistants when required
- Analyze data and contribute to process improvements
- Oversee facility resources like temperature control systems and equipment calibration

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
- Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
- Advanced computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
