This role is central to creating a warm first impression for visitors and ensuring smooth daily operations for the team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As the Pedros Receptionist, your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and directing visitors to appropriate departments
- Professionally answering and forwarding phone calls
- Maintaining a tidy and presentable reception area
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Supporting the Distribution Centre General Manager with admin tasks
- Scheduling meetings and managing calendars
- Organising office files, databases, and documents
- Assisting with company events, meetings, and training coordination
- Providing general information to visitors and callers
- Generating and distributing operational reports
- Collaborating with other departments for smooth operations
- Processing orders, invoices, and handling data entry
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- A tertiary qualification will be advantageous
Experience:
- At least 2 years in a receptionist or admin support role
- Proven ability to handle confidential information and senior management support
- Prior customer service experience preferred

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
