Key Duties and Responsibilities
As part of your day-to-day work, your responsibilities will include:
Product Merchandising Tasks
- Set up attractive in-store product displays.
- Rotate stock following FIFO (first in, first out) practices.
- Replace outdated, damaged, or expired items.
- Maintain displays as per planograms and promotional schedules.
- Install banners, posters, and point-of-sale materials.
- Ensure shelving meets the 8 Shelf Health Elements:
- Full shelves
- Prime positioning
- Accurate PI labels
- FIFO stock rotation
- Spotless displays
- Product freshness
- Full range on display
- Correct shelf space
Team and Store Communication
- Coordinate regularly with store teams.
- Alert store management about upcoming promotions or merchandising changes.
Minimum Requirements for RCL Foods Merchandiser Jobs
- Grade 12 certificate (compulsory)
- Minimum 1 year of merchandising experience
- Available on weekends, public holidays, and for overtime
- Must have a clear criminal record
