About the SHERQ Administrator Takealot Jobs
As a SHERQ Administrator, your role is vital in ensuring health, safety, environment, risk, and quality compliance across various Takealot operations. You will report directly to the Risk and Security Manager while influencing both strategic goals and day-to-day safety practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
SHE Management
- Maintain and update the SHE management system
- Ensure accurate SHE file records and appointments
- Identify and mitigate health and safety risks
- Coordinate emergency plans and evacuation drills
- Oversee hazardous goods handling and permits
- Monitor monthly inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
- Organize SHE-related training and compliance surveys
- Record and report non-conformances and injuries
Blue Area Management
- Implement SOPs for blue area standards
- Coordinate weekly updates for SHE and 5S displays
- Ensure compliance with layout and meeting standards
5S Management
- Maintain 5S SOP and up-to-date records
- Lead layout coordination, training, audits, and red tag events
- Monitor and report 5S performance dashboards
Requirements to Apply
To be eligible for the SHERQ Administrator Takealot jobs, you need:
- Grade 12 (Matric) is essential
- SAMTRAC certificate
- Health and Safety Diploma (advantageous)
- Solid computer skills
- Clean driving and criminal record
- Ability to work under pressure and lead from the front
- Willingness to work overtime when required
