About the Programme
Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) is offering a 24-month structured Graduate Internship Programme designed to develop young professionals through mentorship, training, and real-world exposure. Internship Fields Available
Transnet seeks candidates in the following study areas:
- People Management (x1): HR Management / Industrial Psychology
- SHEQ (x1): Environmental Science / Health & Safety / Natural Science
- Harbour Master (x1): Bachelor of Science & Mathematics or equivalent
- ICT (x1): Information Technology or relevant field
Duties and Responsibilities for Transnet TNPA Graduate Internships
- Participate in a structured two-year training programme
- Complete all assigned tasks and development activities
- Undergo regular performance reviews and assessments
- Support business operations as per departmental needs
Minimum Requirements for Transnet TNPA Graduate Internships
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in listed fields
- No prior work experience required
- Must be 18–35 years old
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Preference given to residents of Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality

- Excellent written and verbal communication
