About the Role
Premier FMCG seeks dedicated individuals to join its logistics team as Despatch Loaders. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and accurate loading of bread and baked goods for distribution. You’ll work hands-on with stock, ensure product quality, and support efficient operations in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities for Premier Despatch Loader Job
- Load bread according to the daily picking slip
- Perform tray counts and ensure truck balance
- Rotate stock using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method
- Attend and contribute to daily invocoms
- Account for all dispatched and received stock
- Transfer and GRV stock as required
- Ensure only quality bread is loaded for delivery
- Complete daily reports accurately and submit on time
- Ensure timely truck departures
- Assist with internal and customer queries
Skills and Attributes for Premier Despatch Loader Job
- Strong attention to detail and numeric ability
- Familiarity with in-house systems and business procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Accountability, teamwork, and respect in all interactions
- Willingness to innovate and drive continuous improvement
- Ability to make Invocom presentations when needed
Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 months’ experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
Key Outputs
- Willingness to work until the last truck is fully loaded
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and on a rotating shift
- Must be prepared to relieve Despatch Clerks when needed
