Purpose of the YES Programme
The Logistics YES Programme is part of the national Youth Employment Services initiative. It’s designed to help unemployed youth gain valuable work experience and industry-relevant knowledge. Participants will engage in a structured 12-month programme combining theoretical learning and on-the-job training across BIL’s logistics departments.
Minimum Requirements: Logistics YES Programme
To qualify, applicants must:
- Have a completed Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between the ages of 18 and 34
- Be unemployed and not studying in 2025
- Have not previously participated in any YES Programme
- Be aligned with Employment Equity (EE) requirements
- Be committed to a 12-month full-time work programme
- Show interest in the Transport and Logistics sector

Key Responsibilities: Logistics YES Programme
Participants in the programme will:
- Commit to a full 12-month YES Programme
- Complete 25 structured modules (theory and practice)
- Submit a portfolio of evidence via the YES platform
