Job Description: What You Will Do
As part of the Sasol Firefighter Learnership, you will:
- Participate in a structured firefighting training programme
- Engage in physical and theoretical training
- Complete all learnership assessments successfully
- Participate in workplace readiness sessions and exercises
- Learn to respond to fire emergencies, operate firefighting equipment, and follow safety protocols
You’ll be based in a real-world work environment, gaining valuable firefighting experience under supervision.

Minimum Requirements to Qualify Sasol Firefighter Learnerships
To apply for the Sasol Firefighter Learnerships, candidates must:
- Have a completed National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Pass in Mathematics/Technical Mathematics and English/Business English
- Physical Science or Technical Science is advantageous
- Possess a valid Code B Driver’s License
