Job Description: Retail Sales Assistant
Brand Placement: GANT
Reporting To: Store Manager
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for:
1. Cash Control
- Handle all cash desk functions
- Perform daily cashups and banking
- Maintain zero cash variances
- Accurately record manual transactions
2. Stock Control
- Follow daily stock management procedures
- Track and follow up on customer orders
- Conduct accurate weekly stock counts
- Maintain a clean, organized stockroom
- Complete weekly shoe pairing exercises
3. Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Build lasting relationships with customers
- Develop expert product knowledge
- Support internal and external service standards

Education:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate is essential
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience will be Advantageous
