Minimum Requirements for Tactical Security Officer Jobs
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Completed Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid Grade B PSIRA certificate or higher
- Firearm competency for business use (handgun, shotgun, rifle)
- Regulation 21 for business purposes
- Valid driver’s license
- Completed NKP qualification
- Defensive driving (advantageous)
- Formal crowd control training
- Armed response and underground mining experience
- Escorting experience
- Must pass a pre-employment polygraph test
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Computer literacy is an added advantage
- Must reside in or near Secunda
