As a Brewing Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of operations at our Brewing & Utilities Plant. From operating machinery and performing maintenance to conducting quality checks and coaching fellow team members, you’ll be at the heart of our brewing process.
Key Responsibilities of the Brewing Operator Job Opportunity
Plant and Process Operations
- Operate and monitor brewing plant equipment such as the Brewhouse, Fermentation, Filtration, and Packaging processes.
- Perform regular housekeeping tasks and follow 5S and safety protocols.
- Assist in drafting and documenting standard operating procedures.
- Identify and correct unsafe work practices proactively.

Quality Control and Analysis
- Conduct quality checks and accurately record results in relevant systems.
- Apply problem-solving techniques to resolve any brewing-related quality issues.
- Escalate unresolved problems to Brewing Area Manager (BAM).
Communication and Teamwork
- Participate actively in team meetings and goal review sessions.
- Use shift logbooks and communication tools to track and share information.
- Support autonomous maintenance and daily problem-solving activities.
- Ensure thorough handovers to incoming shifts regarding plant performance and quality.
Required Qualifications and Skills Brewing Operator Job Opportunity
- Grade 12 certificate (matric)
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office / SAP)
- Willingness and ability to work shifts
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
