SDC LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME 2026 Investing in learnerships is essential for businesses looking to maximize their B-BBEE ratings. The Skills Development Corporation (SDC) provides companies with a platform to fund B-BBEE-certified learnerships and skills programs for both their employees and unemployed youth.

SDC LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for an SDC learnership, applicants must meet the following requirements:
✔️ Be Living with a Disability (as defined by the Employment Equity Act) or Abled
✔️ Be a B-BBEE Black Person (African, Indian, or Coloured)
✔️ Be a South African Citizen
✔️ Have a minimum of Grade 12 (Matric)
✔️ Be between the ages of 18 and 28
✔️ Be available for a 12-month learnership program
✔️ Attend mandatory practical training

Under the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998, a person with a disability has a long-term or recurring physical or mental impairment that affects their employment opportunities. Disabilities can be:
