Duties & Responsibilities

  • Download and upload daily bank statements into the financial system (Solar).
  • Allocate government payments to the correct utility accounts.
  • Reconcile standalone bank account direct deposits.
  • Maintain and balance general ledger suspense and bank cost votes.
  • Process general ledger journal entries accurately.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation files for management sign-off.
  • Administer deposit books and card roll inventory.
  • Manage stationery, consumables, and office equipment stock levels.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Finance or an equivalent NQF Level 5 qualification.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in financial administration.
  • Grade 12 certificate (compulsory).
  • Solid knowledge of financial systems and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
