Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls as sales opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on shipment queries
- Promote online booking platforms and high-revenue cargo solutions
- Support Account Managers and act as a liaison with internal teams
- Ensure bookings meet IAG Cargo standards and SOPs
- Maintain updated flight plans and track cargo shipments
- Promote Premium cargo products and grow customer relationships
- Maximize revenue through upselling and outbound calls
- Complete accurate Salesforce entries for every customer interaction
- Follow up on customer issues promptly and professionally
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Internal: Call centre team, Account Managers, Area Commercial Manager, Revenue Management
- External: Freight forwarding customers across South Africa
What We’re Looking For British Airways call agent
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Customer-first mindset with a strong sense of professionalism
- Ability to handle pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation and sales skills
- Confident in using CRM systems and handling numerical analysis
- Experience in cargo logistics is advantageous
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Willingness to learn, grow, and support the team
