What the Administrative Learnership Programme Offers
This structured programme includes both theoretical training and practical workplace experience, empowering learners to gain the essential knowledge and tools to work in an HR environment.
The curriculum includes:
- Communication and Computer Skills
- Maths Literacy
- Business Operations and Entrepreneurship
- Customer Service and Business Accounting
During the practical component, learners will:
- Support department managers with administrative duties
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and change management processes
- Learn how to handle HR data, reports, and analytics
- Understand and support compensation, benefits, and labour relations
- Gain exposure to real-time HR systems and decision-making tools
This opportunity is available in Sandton, Sasolburg, and Secunda and is part of a fixed-term learnership contract.
Duties and Responsibilities
As an HR Learnership participant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing admin support to HR teams
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding
- Learning payroll, benefits, and employee data systems
- Participating in change management projects
- Supporting HR compliance and process efficiency
- Delivering customer-focused HR services
You will also contribute to a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement aligned with Sasol’s purpose.

Requirements to Apply
