Job Description
As a GANT Retail Sales Assistants, you will report to the Store Manager and play a key role in achieving customer satisfaction, sales targets, and operational excellence. Your responsibilities include:
Key Areas of Responsibility GANT Retail Sales Assistant:
1. Cash Control
- Perform cash desk operations daily
- Ensure zero cash variances
- Follow banking procedures and accurately record manual transactions
2. Stock Management
- Manage and control stock daily
- Ensure follow-up on customer orders
- Conduct weekly stock counts
- Maintain a neat storeroom and complete weekly shoe pairing tasks
3. Customer Service
- Deliver excellent internal and external customer service
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Possess and apply thorough product knowledge
Minimum Requirements GANT Retail Sales Assistant
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience
- Basic understanding of retail admin, sales, and customer engagement
- Strong skills in:
- Stock and cash management
- Retail procedures and product knowledge
- Communication and interpersonal relationships
- Time management and numerical accuracy
